Where we ship:
We ship only within the continental US. Sorry, we do not ship to Alaska or Hawaii. Some additional shipping restrictions apply to certain states and are indicated on the individual plant pages.
When we ship:
Plants are shipped according to the schedule below, weather permitting. Shipping is done on Mondays and Tuesdays only, using 2-3 day service, so the plants will reach you in time for weekend planting. This avoids having the plants sitting in dark boxes in possibly unfavorable conditions over the weekends. What Zone am I in?
Spring
Zone 4 and colder: Mid May through June
Zone 5: Early May through June
Zone 6: Mid to late April through June
Zone 7: Early April through June
Zone 8 and warmer: Late March through June
Fall
Zone 5 and colder: Early September through October
Zone 6: Mid September through October
Zone 7 & 8: Late September through October
Zone 9 and warmer: Early October through October
The above schedule may vary depending on the weather across the US. Of course, I’ll ship to fit your schedule if necessary. Just let me know when you prefer to receive your plants. I do not guarantee plants shipped during the heat of summer or during the months of November through Mid-March.
Shipping Charges:
Your order will be shipped via USPS Priority Mail, which takes 2-4 days. The shipping charge is the USPS charge, based on the destination and estimated weight of the plants and packaging. (The price of the plants include handling and packaging charges, this is not added to the shipping charge!) You can see your shipping charge on the Shopping Cart page and at checkout. If you live in the Vancouver, WA, area you are welcome to pick the plants up from the nursery, saving the shipping charge. You can choose this option during the checkout process.
